    Dec 06,  · anyway, if you want to monitor your recorded sound on tape in real time you need a 3 head cassette deck NOT designed for high speed or multitrack use. and the sound will be delayed. so it's a huge hassle, but could be worth it to you. if you use a multitrack style cassette deck then I'm not sure if most of them support actually monitoring what.

    1 point · 2 years ago · edited 2 years ago I would try another tape and see if it makes the same noise I got one tape that made a constant squealing noise while playing, and from what I've read it's due to a lubricant inside the cassette drying up & needing to be re-lubed.
